You don't need an app to send cat facts from an Android phone. Open catfactstexts.com in your browser, enter your friend's number, and the cat facts start arriving by text.

Start sending cat facts

Is there a Cat Facts app for Android? You don't need one: Cat Facts Texts works right in your phone's browser, takes about 30 seconds, and your friend gets real cat facts as ordinary text messages. A new Android app is in the works. Until it launches, the website does the job: pick a number, choose how many facts a day, and pay with PayPal, Venmo, or a card.

How do I send cat facts from an Android phone?

  1. Open catfactstexts.com in Chrome or any browser.
  2. Enter your friend's phone number (or your own).
  3. Choose how many cat facts a day, from 1 to 15.
  4. Pay with PayPal, Venmo, or a card. The first fact arrives within minutes.

Want to try it first? There's a free option that sends 3 cat facts, one a day, and then stops on its own. See how the free cat facts prank works.

Does my friend need an app?

No. Cat facts arrive as normal text messages, so they work on any phone that can get a text: Android, iPhone, or a flip phone. The texts come from the Cat Facts number, not yours.

When do the cat facts arrive?

Only between 9 AM and 9 PM in your friend's time zone, spread through the day. Nobody gets woken up by a cat fact. Sign up late at night and the first one waits until morning.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $2.99 a month for one fact a day. Every plan is on the pricing page. Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Your friend can reply STOP at any time to end the texts; cancelling the billing is done separately from the unsubscribe page.

Is there an iPhone app?

Yes. The Cat Facts Texts iPhone app is on the App Store. On Android, the website is the way to go for now.
